Today I turned 30...It has been a rough week I have had mixed feelings about entering into a new decade. I began my 20's playing college basketball and getting married. I graduated with my BA in psychology and started my first real job. I worked in adult degree completion then was blessed with the birth of Katy. I entered into the medical world and was a working mom. We purchased our first home and then were blessed with a second child, Logan. I began my own business. We sold our home and Rob entered the Army. We sold our first home and bought another. We have lived in 5 different states, we have moved 9 times, made many dear friends, been apart of great churches, I have had the opportunity to volunteer, and I am in awe as my business grows. I have never depended on my faith more than I do now and know that without God, my family and my dear friends I would be lost. I have learned that a kind word and a solid heart are more important than your pant size. I have learned to accept myself as a women, as a mother, as a wife, as a friend. If you don't like what you see or like who I am then I am sorry because you are missing out on something grand. I was not looking forward to this day. The day that says you are now officially in your 30s but as it has almost passed I am not sad but am thinking "bring it on!" May 30s be even more wonderful then my 20s!

welcome to the blogosphere! congrats on turning 30. i love it, personally. i finally know who i am and i'm not nearly so insecure as i used to be. just think...Jesus himself didn't even start his ministry until he was 30. According to Dug, "Life doesn't start until you're 30!"
Love ya
